First, a sand base is put down. We had 4 yards dumped in the driveway and
trailered it down behind the ride-around mower. Note the dog supervisor. |
 |
Next, the roller to pack it down, followed by
the ground cover tarp. |
 |
Puts the hoops in and bolt the structure together. |
 |
Frame in the door and window. The window in the back had to
be low enough to put a water cooler in when it gets summer-time hot. |
 |
Wait for a non-windy day to put on the plastic. There are two layers
of plastic and a little pump puts a couple of inches of air in between for insulation. We have propane
tank heaters for over night. Then the dark shade cloth to keep it from getting TOO hot on sunny days. |
 |
A view inside. Those are roll-around shelving units on the left,
without their shelves right now. They will be loaded up with flats soon so we'll have stuff ready
for the yard in the spring. Hanging plants and other etc will be on the right. |
